Radical Love as a Witness to the Kingdom of God

1. Bible Engagement: The Bible is not merely an answer book for life’s problems, but a witness that invites us to see and participate in God’s transforming act in our world. It is the Word of God.
2. The Word of God Reveals the Living Kingdom of God–and then how God is acting for and with you now!
3. This passage is not primarily about how individuals should respond when personally insulted. Rather, it is about preparing the people of God’s kingdom to bear witness to His kingdom in a broken world through a radical kind of love — a love that comes with a great cost, the cost of sacrifice.
4. The Word of God Reveals Jesus the Living King.
5. So What? How can we demonstrate this radical life to witness the Kingdom?
