Sermon
Overcome evil with good
Sermon Outline
1. If it is possible, we should try our best to pursue peace with others (Romans 12.17–18).
2. If peace is rejected, we should not respond with anger or retaliation, but entrust justice to God, who will repay (v. 19).
3. We always need to remember to overcome evil with good (vv. 20–21).
Discussion Questions
1. When we are mistreated, how do we handle the anger within us?
2. If possible, we should try to pursue peace with others. But how is that different from being a people-pleaser?
3. When we entrust justice to God, what does that mean, and what can we do?
4. Why should we overcome evil with good?
