Sermon
Come on, be cool!
Sermon Outline
•True ‘coolness’ isn’t about looking good, or owning the latest products; it’s about living in a way that honours God and reflects His love.
•The world pressures us to fit in, but God reminds us to stand out brightly by showing honesty, kindness, and courage.
•Instead of worrying about ‘coolness,’ resist negative peer pressure with prayer and courage, and reflect Jesus in daily actions through kindness and love.
Questions to think about
1.What pressures do you face at school or in your friend group to ‘fit in’? How do you think God wants you to respond to those pressures?
2.What does it mean to you to ‘let your light shine’ as Jesus says in Matthew 5.16?
3.Can you think of a time when you stood up for what’s right, even though it wasn’t popular? How did it feel afterward?
