Questions to take home
1. What are the ‘fig leaves’ in your life — the things you use to cover up the parts of yourself you’re ashamed of?
They might be achievements, humour, keeping busy, social media performance, or just never letting people get too close.
2. Is there something — or someone — you’ve been hiding from? What would it look like to stop hiding, even one small step?
This might be about God, or it might be about a person in your life. Either way, what’s one honest conversation you’ve been avoiding?
3. God’s response to the worst moment in human history was a promise — ‘someone is coming.’ How does it change things to know the story isn’t over?
You don’t need to have the full answer yet. Just sit with it: what if the broken things in your life are not the final chapter?
