1. ‘If your intellect is freed, the breach between it and God is eliminated.’
—St. Isaiah the Solitary, Desert Father
2. Our mind/heart/intellect was created to see God, but this relationship was broken by our Fall into sin.
3. Christ frees and purifies us from sin, restoring us to the relationship we were created for.
