Questions to take home
1. Zacchaeus was watching from a distance — on the outside, not expecting to be seen. Does that feel familiar? In what ways have you been watching Jesus from a tree?
Be honest. Are you fully in, or still on the edges — watching, curious, but keeping your distance?
2. The cross means ‘paid in full.’ Is there something you’ve been carrying — guilt, shame, a secret — that you’ve never actually handed over? What would it feel like to let it go?
You don’t have to have the answer. Just sit with the question this week.
